This assessment provides six educational equity goals, including: student outcomes, equitable access and inclusion, equitable treatment, equitable opportunity to learn, equitable resource distribution, and school accountability. This assessment can help leaders and teams examine and pinpoint systemic issues contributing to inequities as part of a larger system analysis.
Teams can use this protocol to support the examination and reflection of equity throughout multiple school systems, with goals that include: cultivating an equitable school culture, facilitating teachers’ growth mindset, engaging with the community, and monitoring access/opportunity in resource distribution.
