A Racial Equity Impact Assessment (REIA) is a systematic examination of how people from different racial and ethnic groups will likely be impacted by a proposed action or decision. The assessment on page two includes 10 sample questions to anticipate, assess, and prevent potential adverse consequences of proposed actions on people from different racial groups.
Teams can conduct REIAs during the decision-making process, prior to enacting new proposals.
