- October 25, 2022

Equity traps can provide a useful concept for preparing school leaders to effectively identify and interrupt systems of oppression (white, heterosexist, anti-immigrant, racist, patriarchal). The outlined characteristics and strategies focus on the idea that “Who we are and how we are with each other matters more than anything else” and promote a culture of revision and redemption.
