The article includes various anecdotes and cites research to help educators understand ways in which biases and systemic oppression are replicated in discous school reform or change.
Teams can use this article to work toward changing discourse in educational spaces from a hegemonic discourse that reproduces biases and oppression to critical discourse that is aware of accessibility and potential biases.
