These interactive case studies are designed for teachers to reflect, identify personal biases, and understand how they react to certain situations with students and colleagues. Case study themes include: creating inclusiveness and belonging, seeing the whole student, surfacing assumptions and bias, and disrupting privilege and power.
The case studies can spark conversation during in-person workshops, as homework to seed work in class, or for discussion as part of a team activity. While the content matter is teacher-specific, these case studies can serve as an entry point for deeper conversations about how individuals interact with people who are different from them.
