This article examines the role of power in relationships, grounding in examples from design education. It identifies how to be mindful of existing power dynamics while conducting improvement efforts, and provides reflection questions to examine the role of power.
Teams can use this article during the planning and initiation stage of their networks (and continue to keep as a centering resource) to examine power dynamics in existing structure and check their biases in program design and implementation.
