This report defines what “evidence-based” means and the differences between evidence-based programs and practices. The report also includes case studies that provide examples of organizations that are applying evidence-based practices in culturally relevant ways and local programs that are adopting nontraditional approaches to successfully serve communities of color.
Teams can use this case study to inform network participants in how to identify culturally relevant best practices to test and potentially improve program effectiveness in supporting all students.
